Charlotte, Thank you for the wonderful article on Einstein. Wow, front page, huh? I forwarded the Mountain democrat article to the National Miniature Donkey Assn. in New York and she shent the following; (see below)
Hi Charlotte. I enjoyed your story about Einstein. He is beautiful little boy. I don’t know if you that if he ahs a friend like a dog or calf, he will not be so lonesome. I wished I could take him. I used to go to Pleasant Valley Road, they had a lot of little donkeys. I used to go pet them-they follow you everywhere, the owner said he wouldn’t sell them unless thy had another donkey so the donkey wouldn’t be lonesome. Good luck with Einstein. That was a wonderful story.

Dear Kim,
Congratulations on the great job you are doing to transform “school lunch” in the Placerville Union School District. The article in the April 5th issue of the Mountain Democrat demonstrates what can be done to change the dietary habits of our children and insure a healthier community for all of us…

I have noticed your articles in the Mountain Democrat. They are wll written, descriptive without being wordy, with an excellent command of the English language. You have a talent for conveying the news. I shall continue to look for your name/articles in the paper.

Hi Charlotte:
Many thanks for a very nice and well written article regarding Devin and autism. Krysten’s pictures are terrific and I am grateful for your respect of my non-disclosure request. I left a voicemail message for Mr. Webb praising you and Krysten saying your visit felt more like time with friends rather than an interview. Please give our regards to Krysten. Keep up the terrific work, and again, thanks for your time and interest.
Sincerely,
Brooke

Thank you for sharing the article printed on Aug. 21 of the guys putting a new roof on the house of a family in need. I was very touched and reminded of people like them who came to our rescue and helped us two years ago.
We are blessed to live in a place where people stillc are and are willing to give of their time, money and skills.
